The information Edpulse collects and receives
We obtain information about you when you use our website, when you provide it to us, or occasionally to third parties (e.g., our partners or school boards affiliated with our services).
Like most website operators, Edpulse collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our goal in collecting non-personal information is to better understand how our visitors use our site.
We record usage data when you visit or use our site, which includes third-party applications and platforms used. Edpulse also collects potentially identifying information such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We do not use this information to identify our visitors, however, and do not disclose this information except under the same circumstances that we use and disclose personally identifiable information, as described below. A user who browses the site without opening an account or providing personally identifiable information to Edpulse does so anonymously.
Some visitors to the Edpulse site choose to interact with us in ways that require us to collect personally identifiable information, such as name, email address and/or phone number. The amount and type of information we collect depends on the nature of the interaction.
A user may also provide personally identifiable information about others, such as contact information to notify in the event of an emergency. If you communicate with Edpulse via email, post messages on our various social networks, make phone calls or calls on your cell phone, communicate through electronic or other interactive devices, fill out online forms, surveys or contest entries, or communicate with Edpulse by any means, any information you provide as part of that communication may be collected by Edpulse. Edpulse may also collect information about how customers use our site, for example, by tracking the number of unique views received by pages on the site, or the domains from which customers come.
